Altcoin rotation returns as traders hunt beta into quarter-end

Mid-cap tokens outperformed the majors for a fifth consecutive session as traders rotated down the market-cap curve in search of beta ahead of quarter-end.

Rotations of this kind historically compress quickly. Liquidity in the mid-cap segment is a fraction of that in the majors, which amplifies both directions of the move.
